Amazing Photos of Saturn

Branching out a little bit from the usual depressing banter about the economy and government action, let’s take a break and appreciate the majesty of the universe.  Behold a series of photos that the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft recently took during its orbit of Saturn.  Truly astounding to think that these pictures were taken by a man made craft that is now over 1.5 million miles away – with the rest of the universe beyond…The pics:

And this view of the sun be eclipsed by Saturn’s largest moon Titan with a smaller moon, Rhea, in the foreground.
